-New Director for Twilight Sequel?
Right Before I started to write this, this afternoon news came out that rumors are flooding the internet that Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke is not going to be rehired for New Moon, the Twilight Sequel that was greenlit about two weeks ago. Summit Entertainment is said to be ready to make an announcement in a few days and that the Editor Nancy Richardson was the one who saved the film. Click here to read the whole story.
The weekend after thanksgiving weekend is normally a slow weekend for movies and this year was no different. The top seven movies for the most part stay the same and that means Four Christmases with Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon make it two weeks in a row for the holiday flick putting there two week total at just over 70 million, about ten million short of the production budget. The two new openings didn’t crack the top seven as Punisher: Warzone only makes 4 million and shows that The Punisher needs a new direction and Punisher to be successful. Cadillac Records opened to a limited opening and was able to grab 9th on the box office list with 3.5 Million.
1. Four Christmases – 18.1 Million
2. Twilight – 13.1 Million
3. Bolt – 9.6 Million
4.
5. Quantum of Solace – 6.6 Million

Quick review of this week so far
Tuesday Britney Spears birthday and the release of Circus...she performed on GMA from the Big Apple Circus how fitting...to sum it up it was freakin sweet and she looks like shes getting back to form definitely a long way since last years VMAs...i wouldnt say completely back to her oldself but almost there...
Last night...Tree lighting at Rockefellar Center(gonna have to go there a few times this winter) it was pretty cool with a ton of performances...then there was the Grammy nomination concert thing which didnt do much for me except bring up a big thing prepare for this....
HOW WERE THE JONAS BROTHERS IN ROCKEFELLAR CENTER PERFORMING LIVE BETWEEN 7-9 PM EASTERN TIME AND THEN BEING INTERVIEWED "LIVE" BY LL COOL J IN DOWNTOWN LA AT LIKE 915 EASTERN TIME????? someone was lying about being live and im assuming it was CBS and the Grammy show since i know people who were at the tree lighting....hmmmmmmmmmmm????
But its alright CBS made up for that with the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show which was freakin awesome as always...lots of faces in the crowd including Diddy, Paris, Martha, Terrence Howard and Russel Simmons...of course it wasnt live it was filmed last month...lots of beautiful models as usual...but i have to give it up to Mrs. Heidi Klum aka the wife of Seal and host of Project Runway...im just saying shes like 36 and has had 3 kids and still has a body like that wooooooo and to make things even better shes married to Seal whos the freakin Man!!!
